We have first cut slab firewood bundles. The banded units are in cord bundles and range from 8′ to 12′ in length. You need a trailer to haul them they weigh 800 + lbs. each.
We take great pride in milling high-quality Colorado timber. Our process is straightforward: we personally inspect every board that comes off our mill, carefully sorting for the best lumber to fulfill each individual order. Our Sawmill is known for its precision, producing lumber that is true from one end to the other. We begin by sorting and cutting logs to length, ensuring they are 4″ to 6″ longer than the desired dimensions, giving our customers ample space to trim the ends of the boards.
Once the logs for your order are selected, they go to the mill, where we hand-sort the rough cut lumber as it comes off the saw. We then carefully stack and sticker the material to initiate the drying process. While some materials can achieve the proper moisture content through air drying, Once the lumber reaches the correct moisture level, it is sent to our Molder/Planer to be crafted into T&G, S4S, shiplap, and flooring.
Your order is then stacked and banded.
